A Poem

"Selfishly civilized"

Civilized, we pretend to be
But only “I”, we tend to see
Divide, discriminate, classify
We did, throughout the history

To nurture, the life tree
Become deep, become sea
Come together as a society
And forbid, “me” and “thee”

Let go hate, and become free
Live your life with the spree
Love, empathize, and live in unity
                Or else

"Selfishly civilized", all we will be!
